I'm being driven insane by the one bar bass solo in birdland, the cool octave run, i just CANNOT play it right. Does anyone know what sort of thing he does with those cool chords at the end?

...okay, so i'm... pretty much amazing.

check out the videos with his gear and guitar tech. they're rediculous.

on the topic, just keep practcing it. you'll get it under your fingers eventually.
