How're you doing?

Well... This stuff has potential, and the voice can only be described as unique. It works, but get a band together and record it properly and it could be so much more.

By the way I listened to Rabbit Foot and The Govenor. I liked The Governor better.

I've added my band to your friends list, if you could check us out and tell me what you think I'd appreciate it!

Cheers

I'm assuming you're Jack's Legacy right? After The Pain's pretty good. The other two don't seem to load for me though. I'll try again later and let you know what I think.

I'm going back to university in a few weeks and am hoping to get a band together then.

I listened to the rabbit one twice and it was interesting at the very least. I would tell you to try to get a cleaner sounding recording but the messy-raw aesthetic is kind of working for you. Your voice is certainly different and it has a tendency to be somewhat grating. No doubt, it will put some people off. That said, I think that your distinct voice could work towards your favor in the vein of Bob Dylan or Elvis Costello. Your guitar writing is anachronistic in a good way, keep it up.

Check out my thread on this forum "Levi Must Die" if you want to return the favor.

OK I listened to all 3. They're all pretty good. All I'd change really (if you can) is make the distorted guitars a bit louder as they sound quieter to me than the chorus guitars. Not a big deal but I think it would improve things. Also Gone and the Untold Truth start a bit similar which the chorus arpeggios. I'd try a different effect like an echo or a faster chorus or something on one of them so that they both sound more different to each other. That way it's not like your sticking to the same formula if you know what I mean. Good stuff though. :thumb:

Very strange music. I'm not sure if I really liked it or disliked it.

The sound quality was about as bad as it comes, the guitar was way too low in the mix (relative to the drums, that is), and the vocals scared the hell out of me. All the same, there was a certain appeal about it. Much like "White Light/White Heat" by the Velvet Underground (I noticed they were in your influences and I hope that you've heard that one, cause you'd really enjoy it, judging by your music.) I don't want to be disrespectful or anything, so don't take it like that.

I would still try to improve production a bit, but if I were you I wouldn't aim for polished whatsoever- make it sound alright, but just so its a bit more listenable. I like your influences very much, as well.

Very interesting stuff, man. But I think I like it.
