Anyway, The USA is allowed to attack its own outposts, no law against it.

Well, it attacked an allied outpost.
And I think that if it were done deliberately, that would breach the rules of engagement.
But no doubt this was a tragic case of friendly fire.

the canadians called for air support in battle and some of them got hit
