So, over the weekend I got some things accomplished.

Yes bitches, thats right. It's a Zildjian K 6 40/64'' Crash.

Hand hammered in my cousins basement out of an old shelving unit.

Suck my dick, Factory Metal Percussion. :)

Nice.
I like the use of duck tape, and the cleverly and artistic placement of the K logo.

Indeed it is. 100% painted steel.

Excuse me, but shouldn't it be 6 5/8"?

Elementary math, my friend.

Yeah well too bad. Real men don't reduce fractions.

And, it sounds very trashy.

How did you make it?

1) Look at a broken shelf and be all '**** lets make a cymbal'.

2) use a lopsided bucket that isnt fully round to make a circle with a sharpie on the shelf.

3) use metal cutter giant thing to cut the thing.

4) use giant industrial sander to sand edgers. sparks are going everywhere.

5) set it down in a block of wood with a dome in it and start hammering.

6) hammer the **** out of it.

7) keep hammering.

8) use some giant rod to smoothen the dome

9) use special cymbal labeling sharpie to label it.

10) use this giant drill to put a hole in the top.

i do not know woodshop terminology.

i do know that my uncle has these giant ****ing slabs of curly maple, birdeye, bubinga, and basswood just lying around, and that the idea of making drums out of those arouses me.

sounds cool, build some drums, or send the wood to a custom drum company so u dont ruin it, but the bubinga you have to be really pick about, ive heard a lot of it isnt good.

You should have Zach Hill make you some of his homespun cymbals made out of " kitchen appliances " as MD describes them.

Looks great though, I want to see it on the kit.

make it a signature after yourself.

does that say zildjian on the top? because if it does, it's mispelled which makes me question the authenticity of the cymbal.

sell it on ebay for a billion dollars.
