i personally like ebony ambs as resos, but i don't really have any experience with them as batters, but i'd assume it's just a darker tone

PM him bro.
As for this, does any one have experience with how the roll as batters? I really need a new base drum batter...

...Considering my old one has a great tear in, it courtesy one two year old cousin and a pair of scissors.

I dropped 219.99 USD for the snare, and it came with remo ambs for batter and snareside

LOVE THOSE ZILDJIANS!!!!!!!!! hows that sweet ride work for you??? would you take that over a 22in K custom? I might have to check into that snare LOVE the set man!!

HeLLmO
09-04-2006, 10:02 PM
i'd take the 22'' K Custom over the sweet, because to me the sweet is just a big crash, but that's just my own personal opinion.

Thanks alot man, i dont know if i would take it over a 22 K custom i havent played on one enough, but the sweet ride works great for me because i usually wash the heck out of it all the time anyway and its got a great bell

damn. If those ebony heads would be so fawking expesive i would get ebony pins over ebony ambs, hey btw, would clear ambs work as resos to get that sound? foo buddy has the exact sound im looking for!

I was planned on going with clear emp over clear ambs...damn those ebony pins are finding a place in my heart. Too bad the 12" is 23 euros and 16" 29 euros. ****ing expensive!

FooBuddy1989

i dont know if they would because the ebonies have a darker tone, and my batters and resos are tuned very low, your right they are expensive and they dont have a package deal you have to buy them individually, but i'd say they're worth every single penny because they're durable(those heads you heard are over 8 months old i think), they sound incredible, they made my beginner level set way better, and they look kinda cool.
