Recently Donald Rumsfeld made claim much like Dick Cheney that anyone against this administration is supporting terrorism and is similiar to that of a facist.
Here's is a rebuttal, that many should hear.

The shameless and crude way the armerican government plays upon fears, predjudices and ignorance is enough vomit to the mouths and tears to the eyes of any sane american

The link isn't working for me. It's pretty ridiculous though that Rumsfeld made those claims. Life's not as simple the neo-cons make it out to be.

How in the name of God does Rumsfeld sleep at night? I'm surprised he has yet to choke on his own arrogance.

well depending on the manner in which you oppose the administration, you probably are supporting terrorism, in as far (or little) as your opinions matter

Actually, the US sold biological weapons to Saddam, but nice try.

The Bush administration has prevented hardly any terrorism and encouraged much with it's cringeworthy foreign policy and you know it.

The world is not a safer place for the iraq war.

Iraq is not a safer place for the iraq war.

Iraq is not a safer place for the iraq war.

What do you call no successful attacks on our soil in five years?

What about the guys in florida? The terrorists in canada? The recent terrorists in the U.K.?

If it werent for the Bush administration and the patriot act/ wiretaps we could have had thousands of americans and brits killed in the air just a few weeks ago.

How has the patriot act and/or wiretaps affected your life? Why dont we constantly hear about people who have been falsely arrested and questioned?

Because it doesnt happen, thats why.

As for foreign policy, should we go back to having none ala Clinton years?

Actually, the US sold biological weapons to Saddam, but nice try.

If they did sell weapons to saddam, and im not saying we did, it was because in the 80's Iran was our main concern. We were worried about Iran taking over the whole middle east.

We saw saddam as the lesser evil, so we were pretty much allies with him against Iran for about a half decade.

But if you are going to call it a mistake, then I guess we are patching it up right now, arent we?

Your point is really moot, because allies have turned into enemies before. Remember the soviet union?

The clinton administration GAVE whitewater reactors to North Korea, in exchange for a good faith promise that they wouldnt use them for evil means.

Thats because the goevernment just takes you. Holds you for how ever long, and charges you with some kind of bullsiht. Thats why we don't hear about that.

I call it nothing to do with the iraq war is what.

I supported the invasion of afghanistan, were there were actual terrorists hiding out.

What about the guys in florida? The terrorists in canada? The recent terrorists in the U.K.?

Seems to me like terrorists are doing it one country at a time

If it werent for the Bush administration and the patriot act/ wiretaps we could have had thousands of americans and brits killed in the air just a few weeks ago.

If I'm wrong I'll concede but I didn't think america had a large part in thwarting those (although pakistan did?)

How has the patriot act and/or wiretaps affected your life? Why dont we constantly hear about people who have been falsely arrested and questioned?

lets talk about those people extradited without full justification for crimes against the crown, shall we? Like the natwest three?

It does affect us. Regardless, phone taps are not FOREIGN POLICY, which I was critisising. So non-sequitur.

As for foreign policy, should we go back to having none ala Clinton years?

You know what's wrong with your country?

The fact that you think everything's black and white.

the fact that you propose that the only alternative to having no foreign policy is to invade any country you don't like.

um telling me i know things which are plainly bull**** hardly makes your argument anything but

The world is not a safer place for the iraq war.
Iraq is not a safer place for the iraq war.
yeah but it's a better place

Bull****.

You really are the master of doublethink.
I've got like triple or quadthink actually

There was one succesful terrorist attack committed by Muslims on US soil during 8 years of the Clinton administration. What's your point?
Clinton was occupying massive parts of iraq for basically his entire presidency what's your point

the fact that you propose that the only alternative to having no foreign policy is to invade any country you don't like.
if we didn't like iraq we'd have left them to be victims of saddam's whim
like euros and commies wanted to
and we did have foriegn policy and invasions under clinton that other guy doesn't know what he's talking about

What do you call no successful attacks on our soil in five years?

Let's see, WTC terrorist attack in 93, and then in 2001. That took 8 years for attack on US oil before. So you're statement isn't valid nor does it prove that US is successful at keeping terrorist attacks away today just because of 5 year gap of no terrorist attacks on US soil.

Onto the thread topic, Rumsfeld, much like Cheney and Bush, is an idiot. They're all incompetend politicians. At least Rumsfeld wanted to resign when Democrats demanded, but Mr. Bushy said he had done good job. lol
