Live Recording Software

Ok, so me and my friends bought a whole bunch of recording stuff yesterday, and our Audio Interface came with Live Lite 4 Recording Software. The only problem is, when we play back our recordings, every few seconds there are 2 or 3 seconds of static noise. Anyone else had this problem and/or know how to fix it?

try unlocking it...
if that doesn't work, than change your latency buffers
