New Mobile Phone

I think this is the most appropiate location for this post but even then I don't expect too many detailed replies but its worth asking.

I am thinking of getting a new phone and I cant decide between
Sony Ericcson K800i (the 3.2 megapixel cybershot camera one)
Sony Ericcson W810i (the walkman phone)

I think I am quite keen on getting the one with the better mp3 player (i.e. the mp3 player is of higher priority than camera), the W810i is supposedly the better mp3 player (as its most important feature is the mp3 player), but how much better is the mp3 player on the w810i than the k800i? I am asking this here because it is musician forums and all of us are/should be obsessed with good sound quality!

Cost is not an issue because I can get both on the some contract.

Sorry if this means absolutely nothing to some people and please dont give me too many ridiculous replies :D.

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

The W810i has a smaller memory (20MB) compared to the K800i (64MB). If I were you, I'd get the K800i. I mean, it may not be specifically made for music, but the sound quailty wont be that much different, and the memory it much bigger.

EDIT: I don't know if the K800i would play music in a media player like the W810i does. It might play through My Sounds like my phone does.

The w810i comes with a 258 memory card, which is expandable, im gonna buy a 2gig one soon..

I have the w810i, its a sony walkman in a phone, its fantastic, very easy to use, the best mp3 player i have used, realy simple too. I cant see the K800i having the same MP3 player, because its not a walkman.

The sound qaulity threw the headphones shouldnt be to much different, but the 810i has 3 small speekers on the back, which no doubt will improve the sound qaulity when played out loud, lookin at the k800i, it dosnt have them.

As i said, the W810i is a walkman phone, all of the "w" sony errisons, are, the K's are the cyvershot, there better for pictures.

I have the w810i, im mad in love with it.
