anyone into erik satie? mmmmm baby. minimalistic french composer from late 19th to early 20th, died around 1925 i think. does anyone here have Hidden Corners? i have been trying to get a hold of that for SO LONG. if you havent heard him i really like Le Trois Gymnopedes and Le Cinq Gnossienes, but get your hands on whatever you can

I love minimalism, and want to get into it more, but I can never seem to find much info on minimalist composers or anything else minimalist. It's as though the minimalist movement has been rejected by the masses.

Was it Satie or Poulenc (sp) who did a piece that was for saxophone and church organ? I heard it once on the radio and it was incredible.
