Well, I dont know if this s the right place, but I was wondering if someone could write me a nice fast pace song. It's for a game with the title 'Mr.Red Dot Adventures World by storm'
I was hoping to get maby 3-6 diffrent musicains/bands to make the songs to get the diffrent approach. I want the music to be either fast pace and exciting, or cool and catchy.
Any type of music is really welcome.
So any bands or solos that think that this might be a fun thing to do, you can contact me at davidstewart_5@hotmail. com (take away the space as I'm not to fond of spam).
You will get all credit in game and a link to your website if you have one. This really is just for fun and there will be no money involved.

I'm not a musician nor was I expecting someone to do my work for me. For a band, I thought it would be a good opportunity, and I can't make new topics so I thought I'd post it here.
Besides, I'm just asking a band to do what they do best, while I draw, code and publish the game. So 1 song is hardly all my work for me.

Recording is terrible but everyone has to start somewhere. It seems like you're trying to go for that Screeching Weasel type of pop punk, and you guys do it with mediocrity. Vocals are generally pretty weak. The best songs are Philly Girl and The ****, which have potential if they were recorded better and I think the rest of the songs are pretty horrible. I mean this in the least condescending way possible, but your band sounds like something I'd expect to hear from a middle school punk band.

haha Thanks man. I don't know if any of us have ever listened to Screeching Weasel. The two song say are the best are, in my opinion, the weakest ones we have.

I like the 1:53-2:13 part in Counterfeit Girl. The singer sounds bored though, especially during the chorus.

BLACK KITES (EX MEMBERS OF YOU AND I AND THE ASSISTANT)
Here is the 2008 Black Kites demo, 5 songs which will appear on the september release of their 12" on Ride The Fury Records... They are rough recordings but are still good quality for a first demo.... This LP is going to rule, the new songs that haven't been recorded yet are seriously some of the heaviest songs i've heard in so long.... If you liked you and I and the assistant this is a little different than what Tom has done in the past, this is straight up 108, deadguy, unbroken style hardcore...

I don't mean to bump a dying thread, but add my band. We're getting back together in a few weeks. The recordings are all awful one-take garbage, but it's fun. We'll hopefully be working with this powerviolence duo (a drummer and a bassist - which are the two instruments we've worked without since the beginning) called Nancy Drew from Pittsburgh. Check them out here:

We'll be putting out an ep maybe by the end of May, and I'll make sure to get that to anyone who wants it. Lemme know what you think. And if you care at all to help me, and you have a myspace, do something as simple as posting a bulletin to your friends to help us get some type of community. We're more of a novelty with some of the friends we have purely because we just get kicked out of wherever we play.

ANTILLECTUAL EURO TOUR WITH AFTER THE FALL
ANTILLECTUAL News Letter September 2009: EURO TOUR WITH AFTER THE FALL
The last couple of months we have been doing some awesome stuff. Playing cool shows at the Fluff fest, Skate fest, and other festivals, doing a tour through Germany, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic, a tour together with our friends from Rentokill and on top of all that some acoustic shows. Now the future.
- Euro tour October with After the Fall (USA)
- New shirts, acoustic 7” and samplers
- New songs, recordings and other stuff
Euro tour October with After the Fall (USA)
When we toured the USA in 2008 we met up with the friendly guys of After the Fall (http://www.myspace.com/afterthefall518). An amazing band from Albany, New York in the style of I Spy, Strike Anywhere and Propagandhi. This October we will be touring Europe with them. Please come out and enjoy their tunes, and listen to our new ones while you are there:
Oct 2 Ger Bremen, G18
Oct 3 Ger Berlin, Lokal
Oct 4 Cz Prague, Klub v Jeleni
Oct 5 Ger Mannheim, JUZ. w/ Landmines
Oct 6 A Wiener Neustadt, Bandhouse
Oct 7 Ger Karlsfeld, Jugendhaus Karlsfeld. w/ Screed, Short Circuit
Oct 8 Swi Zürich, Dynamo
Oct 9 Swi Geneve, Tiki’s Bar
Oct 10 Fr Paris, Le Pix
Oct 11 NL Tilburg, 013. w/ New Pokerface
New shirts, acoustic 7” and samplers
We already announced it on our site, but we have new T-shirts. White! Fair Trade! BIIIG design! And we still have some copies of our acoustic 7” left. Check the site (http://www.antillectual.com) for more info. Recently some of our songs were put on extremely cool samplers such as Pop-punk Loves You #4, the Fair Trade Merchandise sampler, the Still Thinking online sampler and the Kid Dynamite tribute “Carry the Torch”. This last one is finally out and features our version of “Wrist Rocket”. Check Shield Recordings (http://www.shieldrecordings.com) for the double-LP. The other samplers are available through us. Furthermore Shield Recordings will release a label sampler for their 5 year anniversary later this year, featuring a previously unreleased demo song we recorded when we were in the studio for the Kid Dynamite cover.
New songs, recordings and other stuff
Currently we are really busy and actually past halfway writing a new album. We want to release it in 2010. For now we already have a live clip of a new song (“Kraken Gaat Door!”) on our site (http://http://www.antillectual.com/2009/squatting-continues-new-song/).
For more news, links to our social networks, our political interests, our personal updates and what not, please check our website www.antillectual.com.
In the next newsletter hopefully some more news about our new recordings and more touring.
Thanks, you made it, friends ‘til the end!

From the UK.
One 7" out (1st pressing long gone), one Split 7" out with Jesus Of Spazzareth and a "Year 1" tape which is sold out.
We just recorded 6 new songs which are going on a 1 sided 12".
Another song will be going on a compilation tape out on Holy Roar Records.
All these plus a few other songs we've recorded this year will be going on our "Year 2" tape.
Coming up next year is a split 7" with Dolcim (US) and a split 12" with Alpinist (GER). Plus probably lots more.
Fast d-beaty metaly hardcore with some epic bits.
Let me know what you think.

Creepy.
For those of you who may remember this stuff, New Madrid (ex-Las Cruces) is finally recording a real EP. One of the songs is on our myspace (myspace.com/newmadridmo). And there're a couple of new-ish live recordings.
Also, I just recorded a cover of a Paul Westerberg song that I'm not uploading, but I've been emailing it to people who may be interested...
