hi everyone
this is my first post, this is a great message board for chatting and information.

My question is after years and years of wanting one i fineally got my hands of an Eric Clapton signature strat a well used older model blackie from 89 with lace senors

i am truely inlove, i sold off every other guitar i've ever owned to get it, including an epiphone les paul that i've had for 10 years

But when i first went to Guitar Center i was after a new one... with the Noiseless pickups and such the older model with lace senors wasnt my first choice but glad it ended up that way

curious about what you guys thought noiseless or lance senors what's the difference in tone
cause i was playing with the idea of having a set of vintage noiseless instailed to replace the lace senors, or should i just leave it stock

thanks alot for looking

i'd leave it stock, i prefer the lace sensors and i think clapton himself still uses lace sensors.

Pickup noise bothers me sooooo much, so I'd probably go with the noiseless pickups.

But I've played neither, so can't really give a good opinion.

You'll get a lot more posts if you put this in the guitar forum.

Noiseless seem a bit lifeless compared to the non-noiseless variety.

Lace sensors arent that noisy are they?
