And I noticed that, while these two songs I plan on using on a cd are very diffrent, they start off using the same exact beat. Only problem is I cant think of anything else that works in the second song, should I try to avoid doing this as much as possible or should I not worry about it?

Tons of songs use the same beat, its no big. I would try to find a different intro for one of them, however, and I would space a few songs in between the two similar songs so the similarity isnt so obvious.

^Yeah mans.
Of course, the spacing thing doesn't help when somebody's listening to something on random, but still.

Unless the beat is unique (such as Deep Kick - RHCP), don't worry about it. Only drummers listen to drums anyways, so as long as it sounds good, its gold.

Yeah kinda like what White Riot said, just see if you can make some small differences. But it doesn't really matter.

Listen to AC/DC, I dare you to find more than one drum beat.
