problems with new boss distortion pedal

hey guys, i just got a new boss distortion pedal for my bass, it's the odb-3 model. when i first played it it was working fine but then after a day or so out of nowhere it just cut out and now it won't working anymore. like when i plug it in the light will come on but when i stomp down it won't do anything.. no sound, the light stays on..

any ideas?

is the battery in it? if so take it out. even if it is plugged in a dead battery will do that.

You may of drained the battery...When your done playing your suppost to disconnect the cables. When you got the cables in the pedal is on

First off, the reason why i was suggesting that was because people in the bass/guitar forum would be of a lot more help to you.

Second, use some common sense. Three boards, and of all of them you chose drums when your problem was relating to bass.

So, unplug those dicks out of your eyes and read.

i didn't get to this forum through the main page all i saw was a forum for "gear and media (includes pedals, etc.)" i didn't see anything about drums/percussion.

maybe it would have been easier for someone to tell me straight up i was in the wrong forum rather than just be dicks about it.. thanks to those who actually tried to help, but nothing has worked yet.
