First the rack clip that holds the boom stands (the reason I have 2 is because i was meant to have another cymbal, as said in other topic)

Then the boom stands!

Then the Sabian AAXTreme 19" China

Yeah, if your parents bought you a 3k set you wouldnt complain. It sucks most of us gotta pay, but no need to hate the lucky ones. Hell, I had to pay for half of a $200 drum set, the half my parents paid for was for x-mas.

First of all, my parents were married for 3 years before I was born, so no bastard child here.
Second, my mother is actually about 100 feet away from me right now and my father is a work.
Third, I wouldn't think differently in his situation. I like knowing that I have financial responsibility. If I wanted to, I could spend all of my saved money and have a kickass kit, but I don't. Why? Because I'm prepairing myself for the real world where mommy and daddy aren't there all the time to make sure you're okay and you have everything you want.
Fourth, I'm not jealous that his parents give him everything he wants. I'm actually a little saddened that he has life so easy right now. He will be completely unprepaired when he has to move out.
Oh, and with drums, cymbals, and stands, my kit cost me roughly $2000 so far.
btw my kit was my birthday and x-mas pressie. so I didnt get a kit for my bday, i had it for my bday and x-mas.
That is still a rediculous amount to spend on your kid for a present. What did you get them for their birthday and Christmas?

There is a difference between being spoiled, and having rich parents that buy you expensive stuff.
The above post is an example of the former.

If by "I can't handle what my parents do" you mean you don't like them spoiling you, then tell them to stop. If you mean you can't control what they spend their money on, I'm sure if you told them you didn't want them to spend $350 for a birthday present, they wouldn't.
And I never said your parents didn't have financial responsibility. My parents pay for their house and food. If I want anything else, its up to me to buy it. But you know what, I'm done with this argument.
Johndoe: Seeing as all of your responses are within 10 minutes of Blujelly posting, I'm going to assume that you are eather him on a second account, or someone related to him.
Also, say my parents don't love me is completly uncalled for and irrevelent to the conversation. It could actually be deducted that my parents love me more because they are prepairing me for the real world far better than his/your parents are.

Kelly, age 9 This was a Christmas gift from Kelly to her parents. Good job Kelly, now pack up your **** and find a foster home. If my kids tried to pass this off as a gift, they'd come home from school and find all their **** outside in a box. What a lousy gift, seriously. You give them video games and toys, and they give you some half-assed drawing with a crooked tree. I wonder how much a gift like this would set someone back. Five, maybe ten minutes to find a napkin and some markers? F

your behaviour clearly shows you to be spoiled.
