Last night I was watching my Jack Cassady dvd, and I realized I never hear about him on here. I don't really like his bands, but he is an amazing bassist with a great approach to the instrument.
So, let's discuss the music of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna bassist Jack Casady.

I've always dug Jefferson Airplane, it was one of the bands I was subjected to a lot at an early age. Cassady always has great tone and tasteful lines... I dig him.

I love Jack Casady. He has one of the best tones I've ever heard for blues/rock.

his work on the album "After Bathing at Baxter's" by Jefferson Airplane is his best with them IMO. it reminds me of Flea x 17689000000000.
