Hmm...why transpose it to D? It sounds even muddier and further from the cello's range. You have the necessary range on that bass. Pretty good effort otherwise. I'm really big on the correct stylistic interpretation of Bach, and have gotten into arguments about it before, but the correct Baroque style is to have as even 16th notes as possible. Dynamics can be added at the discretion of the performer and gradual rubatos/accelerandos can (and should!) be added, but a uniformity in the pulse of the sixteenth notes should always be there when interpreting moto perpetuo pieces such as the Prelude to Cello Suite #1.

I wasn't trying to cover Bach actually. Probably should change the heading or something. I like it played higher. I'm not trying to play Baroque I'm simply making it my own. Thanks for viewing man.
