Pendulum and other stuff

Anyone listen to Pendulum? I've listened to their album Hold Your Colour several times. It's very awesome when you're driving or just in a car (that's where I heard it, in a friend's car)

Also, what are some other groups like Pendulum? Also, anyone see the movie Pi? It has awesome music in it.

I love Pendulum, and Hold Your Colour is just fantastic.
And yeah, it's been in my car since I first got it. It's brilliant to drive to.

Hold Your Colour (the song) is nice, but I could stop listening to it at 3 minutes in and still get the same experience than if I listened to it the whole way through. Other songs on Hold Your Colour start out nicely, but quickly fall into mindless pounding beats.

It is a good album, but nothing too amazing.

They do tend to overuse the same basic beat which kind of annoys me. If they were as creative with their beats as they are with sampling they'de be much better. That said, Hold Your Colour and the ones with Willy Wonka and the Jungle one are all very good.

Well, they are still a DnB band, so they're stuck within certain parameters.

Pendulum is frickin' sweet, I don't dig too much other D&B though, so any reccomendations are welcomed here too.

High Contrast are the only one that I can recommend right now. Check out the similar artists on last.fm though, as they should probably be similar enough.
