The General Discussion forum is for community building, and not for spamming, flaming, or bad behavior.
Note:
You can only post in this forum if you have been a member for more than two weeks.
Don't Post:
- Discussion of illegal topics
- Pornography
- Spam / Random Babble
- Advertisements
- Harassment/flame threads
- Any outgoing links to bad sites
Banning System
For violating the rules, bannings will follow these guidelines. Note that the rules here are subject to change. Please remember that we are not a court, and that the guidelines below are precisely that: guidelines to give you a broad idea of what to expect if you break these rules. If you're a good user who posts 1 link to a forum that you own, you probably won't get banned for a month. If you make 100 posts advertising your forum, then you'll be banned for far longer.
Temp Bans:
- 1 day for spamming
- 3 days for harassing/trolling/flaming mods &/or regular members
- 5 days for posting/discussing illegal subjects (crime, drugs, hacking, scams, etc)
- 1 month for advertising
- 4 months for attempting to scam people out of their user info, whether via attempting to take their password or posting a cookie stealing link or site.
Permanent
- Hacking of any sort
- Repeated violations of any of the above rules
- Linking to pornographic material, nudity or obscene images
Removal of the Forum
- If users are consistently breaking the rules and harassing moderators, the forum will be shut down.
