Youth Group is an amazing Alternative/Indie band from Australia. The vocals are highly soothing and the guitars create a pleasant, dissonant sound. The bass work is deceptive at times, but when one listens hard you realize that the bass contributes a lot to the music. They have two albums out right now, with the latest being "Skeleton Jar". I consider it one of the top five albums of 2004. They have a new song titled "Forever Young" that will be on the new album, which should come out this Fall. However, it's not as good as most of what is offered on "Skeleton Jar", but I still have high hopes for the new record. They're one of my favorite bands ever and as far as I'm concerned, the premier Alt/Indie band.

They're ok. Their bass player used to be in The Vines. Yay.

They seem kinda average, I'll give another listen though. The singer is pretty good.

I saw them when they opened for Death Cab. They were decent, I haven't listened to any of their music since though.

I saw them with Matt Pond, PA and The Sea Navy, I really enjoyed them and bought Skeleton Jar. But I think they are better live (like alot of bands). I always thought the singer looked like Gene Wilder too.

Casino Twilight Dogs is out over here. I heard a few songs from it when I saw them a few weeks ago. A lot of them sounded great. They're a great band. A little hit or miss, but when they're good they're awesome. "Shadowland" is my favourite song by them.

I'm sorry, but I will never forgive them for Forever Young. Never.

I have "Forever Young", but have only listened to it once. It didn't catch on to me, which all of "Skeleton Jar" did, so I was very dissapointed.

However nothing will stop me when the new album is released.

^It has a really cool video. The title track, "Skeleton Jar", does too.
