tom mounting

i really like the idea of getting to use all of my toms.

So i dont know how to explain it but what is the cheapest way i can mount my two rack toms like for example lmldrummer has his racks mounted...you can see his kit in the concert pictures thread.

would that adapter work if i attach it to a cymbal stand and then the toms to that?

Mix and match, theres so much you can do like take the top sectom of your cymbals out and put your current tom mount in, then maybe out the cymbal where the toms were, or get a clamp for the cymbal.

There are loads of things you can do, but yeah, I think the clamp your after would work.

If you have pipes im sure it would because the holes to put it in would fit but if you had L rods like me then no the holes would be too big but if you have pipes then go for it!

Pics of your set would be benneficial, so I could see what kind of tom mounts your working with.

If you have like a mounting system, that uses one pole to go into the bass drum ******(As apposed to two poles, like the rhythem traveler, forum, and other low brand kits) you can buy a double tom stand, I belive (from your drum company, if they have one ) and place them there. You can do what superman said, and take off your top part of a cymbal stand, and place the mount there, or you can buy a little clip, that clips to your cymbal stand (or any other stand) and can attach http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/8/8/7/259887.jpg

Hey, can i ask you a question, or to do a rough translation, seeming your finish. I know limited norweigen and swedish, but no finish. It's different to any other languages... Say yay or nay

And i can see many possibilities with that mount, but you'd need a strong balanced stant to mount it on if you were putting both your toms on...

maniac im dumb or just stupid but i dont know if i get what your trying to ask!:D
But to answer something i'd say there really isn't a language really close to finish except estonian witch shares some words with finish but they mean a totally different thing.

But back to the thread.

I have a pearl export so i have the L-rod thing (i think thats what they are called, atleast they look like a L) Anyway, i dont really want to pay 120 euros for a stand for my toms if there is a cheaper way....i have the mounts and everyhting...hope that helped in anyway
