I like the amber fade, looks really cool. In fact, I wish my finish was like that....but no I had to get "Racing Green"....:upset:

Sparkles are a bit too much, and the amber and white are all too common.

I'd go with the sea fade

Wait, do Yamaha's have die cast rims on them?

I chose the amber fade. It was a tough choice between the sea blue fade thingymajigaboba.

Well I have the black sparkle.Anyway, listen to me.
Some times we see one seperate drum and we may think that it's the best finish.
But we don't think how the whole drumkit will be and sometimes the whole image is not what we expect. So, focus on the kit, not on the drum.
-If you choose the vintage naturall finish, be prepared for the change.I saw how it becomes after some time and I didn't like it at all, but maybe that's only me. you may like it.
-Another choice is Red Pearl Natural Lacquer. It's close to the vintage naturall
finish, but it's lacquer so it won't change after some months.Someone from the audience would think that it's the naturall finish.Good!
-Sea blue is a very good choice. One of my favourites. Just image a kit with this finish. Amazing! But I am not a fun of the sea blue FADE.
-Cherry Wood Lacquer would also show off your kit.It will get everyone's attention.
I visited the yamaha's site and I reallised that they removed many finishes from the catalog with the absolute finishes.
Also chech the embossed blue, silver sparckle, black sparcle (normal, fade and sunburst)

Are you serious? That's exactly how I got my Birch Custom Absolute. My grandma and grandpa sold their house. That happened two years ago. Just a month ago my grandfather died.
Anyway, buy the kit from massmusic.net cause they give free hardware with it such as DFP9310 DS1100 and hot stuff like this

othankheavenfor311
08-14-2006, 10:10 PM

My great grandma died a few months ago, obviously we are very sad about it.
But my nan sold her house and moved into my great nans house becuase my great grandad built it and its a much more valuable house too.
In short my dad is getting £50000 from the sale of the house.

yup, 20x16, 10x7.5,12x9,14x14,16x14 normal lugs

metallas

I think that power sized toms sound better. I would rec 10x09 and 12x10.
Many people buy the fast sizes for comfortable setup. But *** long *** you have 20" bass drum you don't have any setup problems.Your toms can get low enough without touching the bass drum. And do not think that the power sizes will have a very long lasting sound.
Nouveu lugs are more usefull and look better to me on small drums
