Well today I went over to Mothers Music to check out crashes to go along with my 15" AAX Studio crash.
At the end I managed to get it down to two crashes.
18" Paiste Giant Beat crash
and a 17" Sabian Signature Fierce crash
Ended up choosing the Sabian. As sexy as that Giant Beat crash is, it just did not go together as well with my crash.
And the Fierce crash was used, so it was way cheaper, and I managed to lower the price a bit too.
Also got myself a Yamaha stand for the crash. This thing is a tank!

Onto the pics..

And heres some older pictures of the rest of my cymbals.

Than heres a video to give you an idea of how everything sounds.

Dont mind my bleh playing at the end. The vid was taken for another forum to give some audio of my cymbals.

Yeah, its a great crash.
First tried it in the store awhile ago, I didint think it would go nicely with my studio crash. But it went along just perfectly when I brought my crash in, so I bought it.

Nice crash.

Just saw the video and I thought I should tell you your left hand looks like it's slicing. You definitely gotta fix that dude :thumb:

What do you mean by slicing?
Slicing is when the stick doesn't travel straight up and down like it should and hits the drum at an angle.

Practice in front of a mirror and you should see what I'm talking about.

Nice buy, how much did it end up costing you?

Kind of surprised me that you went with the fierce crash though, considering your obsession with the giant beats :p

Oh no, have I become so girly that I can't even hide my gender on the internet anymore? Ugh, what have I become. :(

But really, what made you think so? Do I talk like a girl or something?

No.

Well, sorta I guess but it doesint really matter.
I have a PS3 batter head and I used my old stock batter head for the reso, which is basicly a cheaper version of the PS3 (made by remo too).
