The Dirty Rotten Imbeciles are amazing. Hardcore thrash punk from San Francisco. Formed in Texas in 1982, they found themselves touring with the Dead Kennedys by 1983. They have been noted as a major influence of Slayer.

D.R.I. rules, though. I only recently heard them, but they are awesome.
