I agree. There lyrics dont effect me at all, it's there right to express themselves. I really just enjoy there music, there new album is pretty good. To Serve Man is one of my favorites by them.

I really like this band, one of my favourite death/grind bands. ANd I think it's interesting that they're vegans and sing about "a cause", because one doesn't often find that in metal.

My favourite song is probably A new dawn, or No future. And of the course The recapitation of cattle...all 2 seconds of it :)

Punk music in general was based about something to say over musical talent. Musical talent does have meaning but not nearly as much as the words should.

i always thought that punk got started as a "opposition" to prog rock, which at the time was gaining in popularity ever so fast.

No, they were a side project very early on. Now there are no original members in Cattle Decapitation and none of the members currently in CD are in the Locust. They just remain friends.
