Hey everybody. I have a Schecter Custom-5. And I enjoy the EMGs in it. But I was wondering if any of you could tell me that there are any better PU that would better my tone. Any respone would be wonderful. Thanks.

Depends on what kind of tone your going for.... EMG's are great at doing what they are designed to do, you can always upgrade to Active EMGs.

Otherwise if you are looking for a more vintage tone look into Bartolini, Basslines, Nordstrand etc.

Thats what I thought about. I've played A fretted and frettless Modulus Quantum 5 strings with Bartolini and a Tune with bartolini. I dig em. I really do a lot of funk, reggae, blues, jazz, latin, slap. Things like that. What would you do? I just want to know if there are better electronics that could improve my tone for what I do. What would you do?
