To be honest I never dug them much myself. Just sounded boring to me.

That's pretty much it. Their music didn't interest me at all, but to the point where I actually didn't like them rather than just not caring about them.

That's pretty much it. Their music didn't interest me at all, but to the point where I actually didn't like them rather than just not caring about them.
I feel the same way.

Atleast now we won't have any more people buying Rickenbackers simply because this guy used them *looks at Tim*.

Bassists reputation of having GOOD distortions may rise back up again, as well.

I like DFA1979.

I have there album on my old PC, and iw as playing the Porject Gothem Racig 3 demo today, and they have a song on it, and then it reminded me to get it agian, i might buy it in a couple weeks. But still, kinda ironic the day i remember about them is the day i find out they split up.

They have broken up and gotten back together at least twice, I believe.

TBH I haven't listened to them a lot recently anyway, I just liked them generally.

well, i got to see them three times. my life is complete with that. i saw them through their highs, and the lows of what was the NIN tour. jesse is too good of a guy to not put something good out there. whether it's dance music or what have you.

check them out and his other old band femme fatale

sucks they split but at least we still have lightning bolt!

Are femme fatale any good? I heard a lot about them but I ain't heard any of their stuff.

femme fatale are a bit like an accessable version of the locust... its good! jesse does lead vocals but doesnt play bass

i dunno, their live show is actually pretty repetitive once you've seen them more than once, so i didn't enjoy the show at the ACC as much as the other times i saw them. they didn't translate well to the big stage.
