That's pretty much it. Their music didn't interest me at all, but to the point where I actually didn't like them rather than just not caring about them.

How will I ever live again without a bassist and drum duo that never wrote a single good song.

I feel the same way.
Atleast now we won't have any more people buying Rickenbackers simply because this guy used them *looks at Tim*.
Bassists reputation of having GOOD distortions may rise back up again, as well.

It's kind of weird seeing a 2 person band split up.

:(
I like DFA1979.
I have there album on my old PC, and iw as playing the Porject Gothem Racig 3 demo today, and they have a song on it, and then it reminded me to get it agian, i might buy it in a couple weeks. But still, kinda ironic the day i remember about them is the day i find out they split up.

We started as a punk band with pop aspirations and we met every goal we set for ourselves.
That explains a lot.

I know of three, I think there's more, though.
Tim: How hostile. That was the only part of the post I was actually joking about, although I never liked that matter either way.

Fair enough. :naughty:
It's not like they were doing anything anyway, besides making pointless remixes of their old songs for the past 2 years.
Still, :upset:

well, i got to see them three times. my life is complete with that. i saw them through their highs, and the lows of what was the NIN tour. jesse is too good of a guy to not put something good out there. whether it's dance music or what have you.

I guess he's helping QOTSA on their new album too...hopefully it'll be badass...or it might end up being all pop-stoner-techno-rock...if that's possible.

I really liked them, killer live show. Showed up NIN when I saw them. Great that jesse is working with QOTSA, they need a good bassist.

i dunno, their live show is actually pretty repetitive once you've seen them more than once, so i didn't enjoy the show at the ACC as much as the other times i saw them. they didn't translate well to the big stage.
