Not just bass, music in general.

I've been playing trumpet 7 years, and bass 1.5

about six for me too(bass). I've been playing drums on and off for a few years(nothing spectacular, just simple stuff for writings sake). Within the past year i've taken piano courses at my school, and i've recently bought a guitar (i've always knocked around on guitar when one was around, but i didn't have one at my house for a while)

What did you play?

Guitar for a year, then bass, so guitar for 6, bass (way more seriously than guitar) for 5.

almost four years. Trumpet at first. Then in 8th Grade switched to Baritone. Then in 8th grade our Tuba failed a class so he couldn't go to UIL so he taught me Tuba in a week and we came home with a First Division. (I'll admit to some gloating in that last sentence.) Then in 9th grade i picked up bass around september/october. Started playing bass almost religiously. I'll will have been playing bass for a year in september/october.

13 years.

I've had a piano since I was 5 and because of that I've been messing around with music since that age.

Well I am going into 10th grade, for reference.
I started piano lessons when I was just a little kid. Elementary school little. I started fooling around with my mom's guitar occassionally around6th or 7th grade maybe? I started clarinet for school in 5th grade, and switched to alto sax in 8th grade. I think I started bass October of my 8th grade year.

Piano since age 6
Trombone since age 9
