So I listened to "The View From This Tower" all the way through today. Man, what an amazing album. The guitar work just gabbed me and kept me entertain and interested the entire time. I really dig the vocal work, too.
Anyone else into them? Thanks to Matt for getting me into this band. I had another album by them but it wouldn't play. :(

They're pretty cool, and it's too bad they didn't last for more than a debut album. You might also like Medications, which has 2 of the members from this band.

I'll have to check them out, then. Thanks, man.
The way I explain them is: Off Minor is screamo mixed with jazz. Faraquet is emo mixed with jazz.
I dig the trumpets on "Song For Friends To Me."

Faraquet and Medications are both great. I heard Faraquet for the first time a couple weeks ago in a local coffee place. I'm glad the guy working was playing them.

Yeah, they deserve way more respect. I think the lyrics are iffy but I listen for the instruments. There's a wicked prevalient jazz influence.
