Has anyone seen them live lately? What are theire recent setlists like? Good show? I'm seeing them on Friday and I'm hoping they play heaps of old stuff:thumb:

Saw them in February and they put on a fairly good show. Tey're pretty lifeless on stage but the musicianship has gotten tighter and the setlists now are really superb. Because they only have 3 albums of quite short material, they basically have to play all their songs except 7 or 8, so you can expect all your favorites.

They sound good, but the integral part of a live show (for me) is that the band moves around and acts excited. The Strokes really don't do that.

My friend saw them in Manchester earlier this Summer and he said they were fantasic, and for a one hour slot they managed to fit in all their strongest stuff. Although last time I saw them at V2004 they were a complete drunken mess and they played mostly 'Room On Fire' stuff but now they've got all the 'First Impressions' stuff so it could be a good night

How crap is this??
I'm very sick and I can't go:( Sickness sucks.
Life sucks sometimes, I had to sell my ticket to a friend who didn't get one. And I was gonna meet up with all these wicked friends that I don't see often, but alas, no longer.
