Anyone like this band? Being a fan of Matchbox 20, and Counting Crows myself, I find them to be a great band. Granted the majority of what I've heard has been there brilliant singles like "Superman," "100 Years," and now "The Riddle." I find his voice to be unique in a good way, and they are not to shabby in the lyrics department.
There was a man back in '95
Whose heart ran out of summers
But before he died, I asked him
Wait, what's the sense in life
Come over me, Come over me
He said,
"Son why you got to sing that tune
Catch a Dylan song or some eclipse of the moon
Let an angel swing and make you swoon
Then you will see... You will see."
Then he said,
"Here's a riddle for you
Find the Answer
There's a reason for the world
You and I..."
I know when I hear they have a new single that I can expect a great catchy song, that might make me stop and think.

100 Years and Superman were both brilliant, but I can't get into the new single, whatever it's called.
Other than that, I haven't heard any of this guy.

I can't remember the name of the album I used to love, but it was great

I found 100 years and Superman to be reasonably good, but I dislike The Riddle.
I respect the singer as a vocalist, because he has a distinct and unique voice, which is a rare and valuable quality in modern music, but in The Riddle I find it very bothersome. Too soft and high-pitched, I'd say.

And you say you liked 100 years?

100 years isn't high pitched all throughout. And it's just a certain quality to the softness of high pitch of The Riddle, that I can't really put my finger on, that bothers me.

Heh, 'Superman' was one of the first songs I ever performed in front of an audience for. I think that's one of the only songs I've heard from these guys though =/
hey, you're not cory!

'Superman' is one of the greatest songs ever. Its so perfectly magical.
I remember liking '100 Years' but haven't heard it in a while.
On another note, my friend is a huge fan and said something about them being a "one man band" but I remember when they came out seeing them being interviewed on VH1 or something and he said that the name came from the fact that there were 5 guys in the band. Anyone know whats going on? Am I just full of ****?

MY roommate listens to FFF a lot. "If God Made You" is a good song.

****in' insane band.
My girlfriend likes them, and since I've met her I've gotten into them too.
Such a sweet band, not a single song I dislike.
