I've been investigating this band of late, and whilst I've liked everything I've found, I've found very little. It's all very varied, be it story telling or ambient soundscapes or Primus covers.

Could anyone recommend me an album or two of theirs to begin with, the more accessable the better? Though don't worry necassarily about accessibilty, I'm a very very open minded music fan

Thanks :)

Most accessible aye? Sounds to me like you'll be wanting The Commercial Album.

^^^ Like, tunes and stuff? I've heard enough of theirs to know they don't always do conventional songs as it were, but I've yet to hear any songs that aren't covers

What's their best album, would you say?

I got their debut Meet the Residents first. It's good.

Really? I have like 16 of their cds and I think there are only maybe 4 cover songs on total. I would recommend starting with Not Available and The THird Reich N' Roll.

All I've ever heard by them is The Commercial Album. My mom is a big fan and bought the vinyl when it was new, so I got that passed on. Great, effective album.

I recommend Duckstab/Buster & Glen, two EPs in a double cd thing

It's what got me into them
