Ok, so i was looking through the forums and saw someone had wrote about how they had they're kit setup, and everyone had wrote how everything was placed wrong and the toms were too slanted etc.
So, i went to my kit and looked at it and moved everything around a bit, but i thought i'd check everything was right by posting a pic on here, so if anyone can see anything ive done completely wrong can you tell please? I'm a bit of a noob and havent really done anything to change my kit so far and thought it was about time i got it set up and tuned and stuff properly.
Thanks for your time

I havent really played it yet coz i finished moving it around about 10ish so if i started playin it my parents would probably tell me to stop anyway.
I wasn't too sure about it because it feels like everythings really high.
Before i had my toms slanted quite a lot, and i read to have them flatish, so i flattened them and they seemed really high, but they couldn't go any lower, so i thought well, move everything else higher then, so i moved my seat from lowest it can go to highest, moved my hats up, moved the snare and so on.
now everything seems to be ok, but i thought i'd check anyway.

As a result of raising everthing, your probably now sat too high, which is worse as is completely puts you off balcance when playing and hinders you pedal work.

If it was me I would do the following:

When sat down, put your seat at a hight so that your thighs are paralell with the ground, maybe a tiny bit higher if possible, then put your snare at just below bellybutton level along with your floor tom.

Put your crash cymbal with the bells at eye level with the splash a bit below them. Then put the hi-hats a bit above the snare drum and the ride where you feel comfortable with it. Put the China a bit above this.

Put your toms with a slight angle towards you, not too much though, they should be fine, if not, you could get tom holders and completely move them.

p.s
If the toms are now like they are in the pics, they can go a bit lower.
