Sorry if this is the wrong forum (this isn't technically modding) but I've been trying to get a better feel from my acoustic guitar. I tried lowering the bridge and adjusting my truss rod (rtrying out a foward bow and a flat neck to see if pressing the strings becomes easier) and the results were slightly better, just not like the other acoustic guitar ive played (easier to press strings and play). So before i ask a music store, is there any way I can try to get a better feel?

btw, i have a $80ish hohner acoustic.

I would just get it professionally set up. If that doesn't help, it's probably just the guitar.

It might be just because it's an inexpensive guitar. But it may be worth trying different gauge strings, this might affect how it plays.

But don't get heavy gauge strings unless your guitar has a reinforced top, otherwise the body will warp around the soundhole. This happened to my guitar, even while using light strings somehow.
