i've only got a NES that stopped working :(
no shops sell them around here any more, and since EB Games, Game Stop, Babbages and Funcoland all merged together, they stopped selling repaired units.
It's really lame :(

*note*
you can beat it even faster on a emulator if you up the framerate (just F-Y-I)
Yea I never had one growing up and I saw one in perfect condition for sale. Couldnt turn that down.

I loved that game, and it took up a lot of my time. It might be hard to find though.

Yeah the music creator was cool. I dont remember if it came with the game or with a nintendo power, but I have a song book that shows how to make classic nintendo game themes with the music creator. Like the zelda theme, mario, etc.:thumb:

in fact, the only Nintendo Power I ever had (my gramma got it for me at a garage sale) was the one with it in it ;)

Is there any advantage of owning an original super nintendo over an emulator? Because I have most of the games mentioned here from the internet and just use an emulator, so unless theres something you miss with an emulator I don't see the point of owning one.

Actually playing the games with a controller on your TV > emulator

Full graphic/sound/control functionality. Emulators are good but they aren't perfect.
Also, if you're a save state abuser, obviously the original doesn't let you be a pussy.:thumb:

yeah, why go to the theaters to watch a movie when you can just rent them and watch at home, or download to watch on your small monitor?
Its the experience. To me, nothing beats the feel of an SNES controller.

Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, and most of all Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past are some of the best games ever made. Ever.
