Hey guys,
I'm going to get a practice room built soon for me and my band. I was wondering if you guys could give some advice on a reasonable/low priced, yet decent PA sytem for my band.

you don't need guitars in a practice PA, only vocals.
200lb is going to be a serious stretch.... here watch.

there's your mixer. you can plug up to 8 mics into it (not that you'll need to).
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Nady-PS112-12-300W-2Way-FullRange-Speaker?sku=609000
pick up a pair of those, one for left and one for right.
then lastly,

there's the cable to go from the mixer to your speakers- buy two.
that's about $450US, you figure what it is in your region... but 200lb is going to get you much.
(ps. ebay is your friend)

i have a question about PA's. do i need to buy a power amp for my mixer and speakers? do the watts on the power amp tell you how many watts it will support on the mixer? and what are mic preamps?
