White Stripes,Green Day or Weezer.Anything by those artists are very easy.

Rammstein. Most of their stuff is great for beginners (a little on the tougher side). If you like power metal, try Trolls in the Dark by Rhapsody.

I second this,Just like you is the first song me and my friend learned,very great rock song to start with.

Fun song to play with the band, paranoid or ironman by Black Sabbath (drums arent the best but the guitarists and bassists seem to love the songs). Lots of Guns 'N Roses, first songs I played with a band were Down on the Corner - CCR and Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd (the song itself is really easy, but a couple fills are a little bit tricky for a beginner).

Yah very easy but i LOVE playing it! its one of my all time favorite songs but its great to play (even though its easy) cause during the chorus when you hit the crashs with those two power chords! OH I LOVE THAT!:lol:
