Same here, kind of. When I fisrt sort of stumbled in I really don't remember it. Dark page. Fairly bare. I reviewed four albums in four days, lurked around, and told myself every week to write another review. 5 and a half months later I finally did :-\ Wrote five then in two weeks and got real busy with work and wrote a DVD review a month and a half later. That one was really long and i seriously had to consider if I could fit reviewing into my weekly schedule somewhere. Decided a month later I could even if I have to squeeze it in sometimes, and I've been pretty consistent ever since. :)

Except I only take 5 subjects (which is the norm), so 4/5 days I have 4 spells with an extra hour off. :)

I'm in university so my schedule is pretty random, I'll have one day with a class from 2-4 and that's it, then another with a class at 11, hour off, class at 1, two hours of, class at 6. Then I'll have a day where class doesn't start until 8pm, then I'll have a day with no classes at all. Having all the time off in between classes is really frustrating when you just want to get the day over with, but most classes are only offered in 1-2 timeslots and there is nothing you can do about it.

I have tried watching that show but it the contestants I have seen perform just seem ridiculous. They are overdoing it. What annoys me most is the contestants have no idea how to control their vocals. For example, with the performance of The Beatle's Back in the U.S.S.R, that Icelandic guy ignored all the subtle vocal detail and just sung it out boldly the whole time. It just seems with every cover, they transform the song into their style, which isn't so bad. Yet their style is so bland and one-dimensional most of the time, I just mute the volume about 30 seconds in for most performances.

Not bad singers, just boring.
