I started this site a few weeks ago and whenever I opened up sputnik it would leave me logged on. I left for a week and came back and it's been making me log on to sputnik and the forums seperately each time I log on. Is there something I can do? It's just pretty annoying.

This has been anounced quite alot. It's completly un nessecary to make a new thread about it.

Auto login is disabled for security reasons.

Sorry, I didn't see anything on the first page and didn't think to look for it. I thought I might be the only one with this problem.

Is it temporary or for good? There should atleast be a system where we only have to login once for sputnik and the forums.

It's permanent. The original system worked much in the way of the one you suggested, but that was changed to prevent hacking.
