This is the first song my band tried to record with Audacity... That multitrack stuff is hard. It takes a long time and its hard to line them up sometimes.
I know the drum part is off at the beginning cause my guitarist couldn't line up the beginning right, and we forgot that we could use a click.
And I know we need lyrics and a singer.
We recorded this with a mic that came with my computer so don't expect great sound quality. And my drums were on the other side of the house so they sound like crap. But we tried...
Here it is

PS: My bass player could probably make a better bass part, but he was grounded and couldn't come so I had to simplify it and play it lol that's why it kind of sucks.
I actually enjoyed that more than I thought I would have. You have this groove going on thats pretty good, but imo it doesn't hit hard enough. A second guitarist playing some chugga or your actual bassist (8-string bass would sound reall cool on this I bet) with a chorus or something would really complement the track
otherwise, apart from the quality of the drum sound, it sounds like you just need a singer and you'll be ready to go
the intro seems a bit off too now that I think about it

Yeah it is. The guitarist had to play two bars at the beginning with no tempo or click keeping him in time... But he got it back on track.
Thanks for the feedback.

Haha thanks
That's two comparisons to Sabbath, which is great IMO

I liked it a lot.
I could see someone singing something great to this.
Heck, I'd sing to this.

Your band could do with being tighter. A bit of extra practice would help a lot with that.
Talking of practice, the guitar solos could use some work. There aren't really any specific things, apart from that his string bending seemed a little off at times, but he sounded rather hesistant throughout both. Whether this can be put down to pressure I don't know, but sounded as if he genuinely didn't know where he was going at times.
Still, I've been negative enough now. The basic melody is good, and once everyone was on the beat it flowed nicely. Some more practice, some more confidence from the axeman, and a singer would do it a world of good. Once you get the bassist back, thaat could make it sound a lot better too. Your basic bass part was good: just get him to put a few fills in it. It could make it groove even more, and bassists rarely get a chance to show off so it could be fun for him.

Thanks.
One reason the guitar solo seems a bit sloppy and whatnot might be because he recorded the whole guitar track with no melody, just drums. It probably would have been easier with the bass part in it.

Whatever the bass player is doing occasionally clashes with the music. It may just be out of tune, but it doesn't really sound good.
Other than that it was okay.

It also reminded me of Black Sabbath. I think it was too repetitive though. And don't do things so half assed next time.
