I just read that they are making a sequel to the awesome movie 28 days later...Its gonna be called 28 weeks later...Its not scheduled for release until about 2007 but the premise of the new one is that britain is totally wiped out and the United States comes over to re-populate and bring the country back. But of course something goes wrong. If anyone knows anything more about this movie post it.

That sounds like a sketchy plot, I'm sure the Brits are gonna love that.
I heard the plot was about the rage virus getting across to America since Britain was closed off after the attack.

Oh I know, I just think it's kinda funny, because a lot of British folk really don't like us, so I don't know how they'd react to a movie where it was up to Americans to re-populate England.

Sounds like a horror movie to me.
I can't wait to see it.

I wouldn't call it a 'horror' film. I'd say it's more of an..,eye-opener, in my opinion.

My reply was a joke. Given the context I meant that America intervening somewhere is scary enough for a horror movie. But, my humor is subtle.
What exactly do you mean by "eye-opener?" I would only use that for exposés in consumer affairs and the like; something about the truth, not science fiction.

So if they make a third movie it'll be 28 years later? Gay.

Oh man I hope they'd make them Stereotypical Americans, complete with cowboy hats, weak beer, huge guts and lots of firepower

I think he called it an eye-opener because thats what they called in the commentary in 28 days later. They called it that because this isnt your normal zombie flick because they arent really zombies. Its just a virus and they are relating it to similar things that have plagued a.k.a aids....

I still think eye-opener is the wrong term.

the new one has a different director and is only being produced by Danny Boyle. It wont have the same feel as the last one. If its a better or different good feel then I'll be fine with it.
