Peoples opinions of this? I personally love it- the only Opera I can stand (besides The Phantom of the Opera), I've seen it twice live and it is just such a great story with such amazing music.

Les Miserables is my favourite musical of all time. I am a Sound and Lighting technician in several theatres, and every time I see the show on either a professional or amateur stage it is always a stunning show.

It is an awesome show from both the audiences point of view, and also from a technical point of view. The technical aspects of putting on Les Mis are incredible, from the construction of scenery to the lighting, to the pyros to the use of the stage. An expensive show to produce at any level, but a great show at any level!


Phantom is also an amazing musical, probably my second favourite.

There was a show on 'Magic TV' last night, called 'Saturday Night at the Musicals', songs from pretty much every musical I could think of at the time. Was a very interesting and inspiring watch I must say, though I hate it when all the Pop icons and solo artists do covers of the songs, as they always manaege to make it sound like any other 'pop' song...which seeing as most musicals are not 'pop' orientated, is rather annoying.

I like Les Miserables. It was my favorite story we read while in French class, and we saw the play a few times. Pretty cool story.
