alright here it is ... if i were to presue something as making my own fender jazz were could i find the measurements and stats?
also could i find everything i need (pickups etc.) at a local music shop?
well i hope you guys dont get mad or n e thing by me asking but if you have made n e of ur own fender jazzes or made a bass or guitar post the pics or the links

You can buy jazz bass plans from the mimf and you can get some templates from www.guitarbuildingtemplates.com
You might be able to find everything you need (except wood) from your local music shop but you can find better deals online.

You meen your gonna make it from scratch?
I think itll be better if u buy the parts pre made.. like buy the neck allready made, and the body.
But what do i know.. you could be a highly skilled lutheir or something

thx but what would be the best choice for making the jazz bass because there are some types of wood i was wondering what would be the best choice

The site didnt work because he didnt but Http:// in fron of the link, cut and paste it into your browser and it will work.

alright well say i do choose alder and want to paint it is there n e type of paint i should lean toward or stay away from and what kinda of clear coat can i use
