Haha, my Fusion song would suck so bad. I might be able to whip up a pretty mean Prog song though. I've finally gotten all my recording **** down from working on it for my music, so I'll be able to enter these from now on.

Ah, yes, I almost forgot:

HereticX: you're supposed to keep the theme a secret; hopefully you know that. E-mail Oz with your selection: it can be a genre, or it can be a theme (like Swords and Sorcery was).

Also: because you won, you get a no-bigger-than 100 x 100 avatar of your choice for a month (unless you win again next month).

I disagree with the whole keyboards idea, simply because i don't currently have access to a keyboard or piano (had to sell mine recently).

Pr0n Metal is a ridiculous idea.

I personally think that the next theme should have something to do with anything not so centered on power metal. The power metal entries always win.

I'm not going to lie, CC is a major influence on my/our heavier stuff, but I just can't write those kinds of songs straight up. But I know there's people/bands that have perfected the art of being CC ripoffs, and it pisses me off.

I would probably do another melodeath/blackened death song, just because that's what I do.

I could probably throw down a badass heavier-than-sh*t metalcore tune if I really wanted to though...

Yeah, I was in a metalcore band for about a year, so I've got experience (unfortunately) in that area. We were a decent one too, played many live shows and everything, but that's just not my kind of music, so I left. I'm always afraid my thrash is going to end up being metalcore though, because I try to keep it at least semi melodic haha. I'll never use metalcore style screams though, so that should help.
