going to a heavy metal concert?

Hi, I'm new to the forums and even though I enjoy all kinds of music I really like heavy metal the most. I was going to go to Slayer's Unholy Alliance Tour, but couldn't because of school. Ok, enough rambling, here's my question. I heard that there were a lot of white supremist going to these concerts and I was wondering if anything bad would happen if I go (once I get out of school I'm planning on going). Of course I know that not all people that go to these concerts are like that, but I've heard that there are a few. Obviously I'm not white myself. I can go w/ my friends, but I don't want anything happening to me or them. I think it's just sad that people have to worry about these things:( .

On the whole white supremacist thing, every genre of music have their imbeciles and hooligans, but similarly also have more liberal minded artists. There are quite a few racist metal bands, e.g. Burzum, but a lot of metal bands are very open minded.

I love meeting people at gigs.

bring earplugs though, that's my advice.
Don't try to be tough, you'll thank yourself later.
I have special audio filters, they filter out damaging frequencies, so I never have peeping ears again.
Damaged hearing sucks :(

LoG was terrible. Bass guitar drowned everything out. Couldn't hear the drums. Guitars were mixed terribly. Gain, Mids and distortion were wayyyyyyyy to high. It was just a block of sound.
Randy couldn't hold any pitch/tone and was **** faced.

lolol to bad you can't refute any of it. KsE are talented, they aren't the most technical band in the universe, but they make good music IMO. It's not easy to write what they write, and some of their stuff is kinda hard with the rhythms and what not.

I'm sorry but Nile is a poor example of "brutal growling." The vocals on every Nile song I've heard are completely lacking power, not to mention being a bit under mixed for my tastes.
