Any free online/downloadable multiplayer games?


Im thinking FPS but im open to suggestions

America's Army.. but I haven't played it in about a year so I don't know what's happened with it.

Gunz, Warrock and America's Army are the ones I've found to be semi-decent, for free games.

America's Army is too realistic, imo. And it's boring.

If you have Grand Theft Auto San Andreas you can get the online mod for free at www.sa-mp.com. You can get the Vice City mod at www.vicecitymultiplayer.com and with Vice City you can get Liberty City mod which changes the map to Liberty City, and you can get the online mod for that as well.

Gunz is a fun game, third person, you can do some Jacki Chan/Matrix-y moves like running on and up walls n stuff.

Silkroad is an RPG set in ancient china or somethin. It was too much for my computer so I didn't get far without giving up.

ROSE was a very awesome online game, but unfortunately they've started charging for it.

my friend showed me some warrock screenshots. it looked like a pretty solid fps. and free.

if you like gunz, you will like warsow.

warsow is basically quake 2 but with more jumps possible (like jumping off walls)

Nope, I never did. There's some server problems, but they still happen now when I play it with cable.
