Hey luthiers/modders,

Check out these pedal mods I found for sale on ebay. I guess this guy gathers the parts together himself and sells them.

They look pretty interesting and the mp3s sounded pretty good. I haven't listened to them all yet. Maybe someone with more knowledge of pedals could give an opinion?

I've built 2 pedals and modded a wah, I haven't done much modding apart from the crybaby. Those look intresting, you could probably buy all the parts seperatley for cheaper but the instructions on the mod might be worth it.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Considering it's on ebay and he's mass selling, I don't doubt I can get all the parts for cheaper. But because I'm not too familiar with modding pedals yet, it might be a good start. Not really expensive, either. But I'm also not sure if it would really change the sound, like advertised.

What pedals did you build, and what did you mod on your Crybaby? I own a Crybaby classic and have been wanting to mod it.

I built a fuzz and a tremolo pedal, i'm in the middle of making a sitar like sounding pedaland another fuzz and i have a boost pedal that i just can't get working.
The wah was onginally a bass wah so i modded it to guitar range, i'm thinking of adding a switch so i can switch between both, i made it true bypass, did a vocal mod and a mid boost.

is a good site that explains wah modding, the values they give you aren't that critical, you can play around with similar values till you a get it sounding how you want it.
