I just downloaded their new album "Probing Tranquility" off of oink.

So far it sounds very amazing.

I just got some of their stuff a few nights ago, it's really great. People say they don't like the Jazzy interludes, but if it wasnt for them, ST just be another technical metal band. I'd probably fall asleep live though. Best song names ever too: "Orthodontic Shovel", "Lattice of Advanced Paranoia", "Sovereignty of Abstinence". :rolleyes:

I have some of their songs too and some of those "jazzy" breaks are pretty cool.

As StreetlightRock said, if it wasn't for them breaks, there'd be nothing unique about them.

The new album is pretty good, but i think they could achieve more as a full band, as opposed to a two-man instrumental band.

I've got Paraphile and it's ok. The first time I heard it I really liked it, but I got bored with it fairly fast. I haven't heard their new one yet though.

I just saw Sleep Terror last night, was so ****ing awesome. Luke played very cleanly on some ibanez (don't remember the model but he said it is a cheap indonesian made model)through a Line 6 halfstack. I was standing right in front of there guitarist the entire time. He does this thing were he slides in between frets very fast, it looks like hes jacking off basiclly. Was an amazing show.
