SAY WHAT
My knowledge of rap isn't too extensive, but from what I've heard, one of the best rap albums of all time and my personal favorite. The beats are really chill and the rhymes are relentless. Nasty Nas, discuss.

It's so agressive and awesome. It's like to the Christmas tune of "2 turtle doves" thing. Read the lyrics.

God's Son was pretty good. I can I thought was kind of corny. Street Disciple was terrible. Nastradamus is awesome, as is Stillmatic. And despite what I read in an interview with Nas' producer about his new album, Hip Hop Is Dead, proving that Nas can finally cross from rap to pop, I'm pretty sure I heard the first single from it on the radio and it sounded real good.

nastradamus was a disgrace to music

I wouldn't say it was that bad. It had good songs.
More posts, Patrick, I'm looking at you.

Most rediculous post ever.
The fact that Big L isn't even on that list makes it even worse.

Because I was clearly putting every rapper I've ever heard.

I'd put Ready To Die in front of Illmatic because of it's lasting impact on rap (even though I think I personally prefer Illmatic when it comes to taste) but Nas destroys Raekwon, Biggie's dead and yeah Mobb Deep is ****ing ill, but a) they're in G Unit now, that's pretty gay b) they're not better than Nas.

Nope. I put Big because he's the king of New York, and Raekwon, Nas, and Mobb Deep are all similar, so I arranged them as such behind Big.
Tyler, that is an acceptable opinion.
Chris, saying ANYONE "destroys" Raekwon makes you sound stupid.
Biggie may be dead, but he released Ready to Die.

Oh, apparently he used to ghost write for Cash Money and Lil Wayne in particular and Lil Wayne dissed him in some interview so now he came out with a Lil Wayne diss. It's pretty fly.

I love Nas, Illmatic and Stillmatic, but Ready To Die is my favorite rap album of all time so Biggie is a bit ahead of Nas.
