I have been trying to record some stuff on Tracktion and Guitar Tracks Pro 3. However, it records really echoey like there's a delay effect applied (which there isn't) and it doesn't just happen when I initially play the note (which would be latency I guess) but keeps on echoing for as long as the note is sounding. My setup is guitar>behringer X V-amp> headphone socket > boss equalizer > line in on laptop. Any ideas? Must be something wrong with my soundcard maybe?
EDIT: and my soundcard is just really bog standard and I record either through Realtek HD Audio or Primary Sound
