There's an official thread in Pop-punk for them.

I'm not much of a fan, I guess welcome home is ok.

I like them for the musicianship they have but not for the vocal parts.

Amazing band overall. Very underrated.

Just got into these guys. The vocals annoyed me at first, but they kinda grow on you. Not too bad. Some of the more poppy songs I could do without, but Welcome Home, Ten Speed (Of God's Blood and Burial), Wake Up, and The Final Cut are all good songs.

I don't really like the vocals at all, but the musicianship is pretty good. The only song that I actually like though is "Welcome Home"

I think they are an excellent band. Welcome Home is probably the best radio-song of the 2000's.

Is The Final Cut a tribute to Pink Floyd?

I think the overuse of pinch harmonics and the high pitched vocals turn me off.

I think that they used to be amazing, but that unless they try to find a new direction, they're just going to wear out the whole reliving the seventies thing really fast. They started out as a modern band who were going somewhere, but have turned into another trend.

Is The Final Cut a tribute to Pink Floyd?Yeah, their last album was pretty much just an exercise in making their influences as obvious as possible, so as to gain some sort of credibility.

Kind of homoerotic. I learned the intro riff to Welcome Home. Not too difficult.

Edit: I would still love to have that guys fro.

Coheed and Cambria really grew on me. At first I thought they were good, but not something i would listen to on a regular basis. However, the more I listened to their music, the more they started to become a favorite.

They're a great band. It annoys me when everyone says "They're singing is gay!"

Welcome Home is probably the best radio-song of the 2000's.

Agreed.

They need to lay off the pinch harmonics.

I wonder how you know what a "gay pedofile" sings like :naughty:

Im only messing with you.

I guess the reason why his voice doesnt bother me is because I listen to a lot of Rush.

Yea the high vocals are kind of an acquired listen, but lay off the squeals, ok? There's nothing wrong with thinking you're Zakk Wylde. I do that sh*t in my DM band all the time. :smash:
